  1. if you do not have space in the cabinet. u can try external skimmer like SA2020
  2. think the cheapest so far is yong peng or something. You can maybe spent 10 mins searching to get different quotes. I paid $100 for 322 cabinet sump early this year. But price increase if its not lift landing or if there is special requirement.
  3. during ANN stages..there wil be increase in BB thus...wat it means is there is too much bacteria. which also means u r coming to the end of the cycling stages. Next thing to do is to do partoial WC. and you are good to go with livestock. But of coz beta to test water first. At least test NO3 if you really wanna save money
  4. u can see if they are not well when of coz the polys dun open and the sponge shrinking in size.
  5. i know, but so far it has been with us for 1 yr..we really dunno how to not unbleach it...they tend not to like too much light
  6. this is mine. They need high flow and low light. Do becareful as they are really not easy coral to keep. Think they need not so clean water..so maybe not so good idea with SPS
  7. i will say drain away all water, put the live stock in a tank or pail. remove all sump etc. depends hoow old is the cabinet. till just a little so that u can place a cloth below. but its going to need a few man to do it. make sure all the edges has cloth. the slide or shift slowly. My main concern is that the cabinet if its old. en may not take the stress. check n check the joints.
  8. red is copopods. yellow i have no idea..but guess ur fishes will be happy. thik if u ave mandrain then lagi happy
  9. mine looks similar, i feed with mp. yes it doesnt like to see light always hiding in cracks and cave. wat my mum did was to put him in a glass bottle with opening for water to circulate. The pic shows the fellow eating a mp

    WTT mp 40

i have spare FR quite a big tube. hmm..cooling fan and hangon skimmer to trade if you wan
  11. try using MP or mussels. very fun bt dun over feed. once a wk more then enough
  12. i dun think its a very good idea from chiller to scrubber...simply becoz u will waste more lectricity. Chiller in my humble opinion shd go back to display. U wan to say maintain temp at 26degree. water get chilled to 26degree but gets"warmed" up again. so the chiller keeps cuting in to maintain the temp.
  13. wat u can do is to use a lighter to soften the hose la. bt i think it maybe the wrong hose size coz its suppose to be able to squeeze in all the way
  14. All given, hope they go to good homes...thx
  15. try the starving method which always works.
  16. pls note, if it hides in rockscape to not try to get it out....we have just learn not to disturb them too much recently
  17. yeah, dun me like us, see sticking on the rock quickly take out to place in the rockscape. let it really settle first. But the next qn will be. how are we to be sure?
  18. i can see trim of white tape on ur top of the connector already. why not etxtend the usage to other joints. since you have it, use it
  19. the screw looking is just a fastener. which works the same way as ur cable tie and clamps. use white tape. very cheap only.wrap the plastic connector squeeze ur hose then fasten. triple protection 1. the connect is design for house thus the jagged edges 2. fastener tightens 3..very simple extra..use white tape on the plastic connector the connect the hose. helps in sealing
  20. use white tape la for better security and better sealling. I tot u squeeze the hose into the connector. this is not la, dun stress over it too much.
  21. wah...my clowns is hosting on my big carpet i feed w mp while the clown is sleeping on it....so far the carpet dun close up like Yuma does...strange
  22. its not good practice to squeeze hose into connectors...although we do it as well. very simple reason of water hammering (more on pipeline work, so i guess for those who noe which industry i m in) I find that there is little point for clamps as it will increase the pressure within the connector and the hose. I will rather use a reducer which yes you will have a pressure drop. but its better the flooding. this sounds itlike its a new set up. so mayb u wanna consider a reducer instead. but if you are like use we use did the same....hahahaha
  23. thanks for all interest. 1 think has been collected and there is like a list of ppl who wants to collect tonite. PLS msg me before u cum in case it has been collected. As stated its FCFS.....hope this is fair.
