  1. yo, been busy with work and other commitments, so I am selling my fishes. 1. 2x Blotchy Anthias - 1 x 4-5inch(quite Large this one) 1 x 2.5-3inch both for $250. Eating mysis aggressively. Showing signs of pairing up as they stick and sleep together most of the day. 2. Burgess Bfly 4-5 inch - $50 - eating mysis aggressively 3. 3x Blue Eyed Cardinals - $10 - OR free to whoever can take the blotchy pair. These 3 are what remains of a group of 25 from 6 months ago. 4. 1x Argi Angelfish - $50 - grew this bugger from a 1 inch baby. 5. 1x bali occelaris - Free - I dont know who will want to come down my place just to take a clown so any buyer for the above can get it free. Nice colouration tho. All prices are fixed as its actually lower than I bought. Anyways, as above, all fishes are feeding aggressively. Any previous buyers of my fishes would most probably attest to them. I'll see if I can take a video of them feeding later. Location at marine terrace, weekends preferable. Thanks.
  2. When dosing copper with rocks, dose more than recommended. How much more, I cant say. Usually, I will start with additional half of what was recommended. Meaning if recommended 10ml, I will dose 15ml. Cheers.
  3. Kill/inhibit some bacteria yes. But not to the point where your ANN cycle is severely disrupted.
  4. when an anemone is unhappy, it will start floating like that. With your tank still cycling, no matter where it floats it will still be unhappy. Just a matter of time for it to either melt or get into a wavemaker. Your anemone looks like its going to die anyways so just remove it.
  5. Bro, remove that anemone before it gets into any wavemaker or just melt inside your tank. better to lose 1 anemone than lose all your livestock.
  6. Nothing is wrong. Your tank is still cycling, just let it be. I know its exciting but for this period, you cannot do anything but wait. 4 weeks is a guideline. And you are using artificial rocks so you hv to give more time for the bacteria to grow and colonise. Dont waste media or electricity by installing your reactor. You're just going to extend the cycling period of the tank. You can even off your chiller and lights. If you alrdy put fish inside, just feed them once a day for now.
  7. Anyone has any idea how much are the colini angels at iwarna?
  8. Very nice queen! Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk
  9. Bump this thread for OP. But im curious, where did u read or find out small sohals are banned.
  10. Anyways, I just saw you actually kept this anemone before but it died one month later and you know its name. Go on RC and see under the clownfish and anemone section if you more info since you already know the id. Still, if you want to try again, ask Henry if he can source out for you. I bought mine from him. And the most beautiful magnifica, real life or online, I have seen was from his place. It is as below :
  11. H. Magnifica or ritteri anemone. Very difficult anemone. Gets huge, will move to get the most light in ur tank. Most come with disease to the point where experienced anemone keepers use antibiotics to QT them. Learned the hard way when I introduced a second one to my established magnifica. This was my 1 year old mag before introducing the 2nd one : But if u still wana keep, find Henry at ML.
  12. at TFC? No more. Not surprising since they are very stable ATs. Maybe can ask the boss to reserve the next time they bring in hawaii shipment.
  13. genianthus caudovittatius. Spelling may be wrong. Quite a mouthful. Uncommon fish. I think i see more semifasciatus in the past yr compared to this fish. but recently they have been surfacing in indon shipments. Maybe mating season easier to catch. This is the male.
  14. If anyone see this fish, can pm me or update pls. Wana pair it up with my male. Saw one small one at pinnacle last weekend but dont look too good. Just to prevent confusion, its slightly different vs a melanospilos below :
  15. If u were to ever QT next time, keep a watch on your ammonia also. I dont see any filtration in that tank. Adding one or two ceramic rings from your main tank would hv helped compared to nothing. If not, changing more water would also be okay. For dropping your salinity, as much as the guides you read were not wrong, a fish can tolerate a salinity drop quite well. But when u raise salinity that's where its a little slower. Perhaps next time, when you do a WC for the qt, you change it with water of lower salinity. Much easier and faster than dripping. You mentioned mucus and shiny. I would guess it was velvet if it gives u some closure.
  16. TFC has the bell's flasher wrasse. Looks like morphing to submale already. Just to add, this is how the male and female looks like. So what may look like a plain fish, will turn out to be an outstanding beauty.
  17. If possible, move all fishes to the QT and copper/hypo for minimum 4 weeks. since no pics of what the white spots look like, ill take a stab in the dark and say its ich. QT should be for 4 weeks minimum anyways not 5 days. But if all of the above looks too difficult, just leave the tang and your other fishes. feed those anti-parasitic food like Dr G.
  18. Its in inches bro. Most people here also use feet as uom mah. Dont see much people selling 93cm tank. Usually its 3ft tank.
