Tested my water today,
PO4=0.04ppm(DD H2Ocean test kit),
NO3=2ppm(DD H2Ocean test kit),
CA=410mg/l(Salifert Profi test kit),
KH= 8.6dkh(Salifert Profi test kit),
MG=1470mg/l(Salifert Profi test kit),
Nitrate a bit too high.
U can try Ultralife Red Slime remover, pretty efficient. Or alternatively u can try the following:
1) Get a double rated Protein skimmer.
2) Use only RO/DI unit to filter water and perform frequent water changes.
3) Get a phosphate reactor/FR.
4) Improve water movement by adding more wavemakers.
5) Setup a refugium to export nutrients.
6) Change your light tubes if they have expired ( more than a year of usage).
Spent 2 hrs today rescaping my tank. Removed some rocks to create more space. Hope to have more flow and space to add more corals in future.
Water still cloudy after rescaping. Also add a DIY frag rack to my tank.
