Added my first pair of fishes in nearly 2 months since the ich attack. Haven't really got time to clean and do any WC this week.

some old photos from my hp/cam... didnt take any photo last week cos busy working and running around all the LFS... never stay late in office for work for such a long time... recently keep staying late and going back on weekends to man the tank
bicolour poci when first put into the tank... currently PE is quite decent, colour so so la...

cant remember name oso, but quite a common sps but i always like the fluff fluff look:
Some comparism from 1st introduction to the week before, the acro polyps turning greening and body is lightening up a little, dunno how it is suppose to actually look like cos nvr see mummy before:

There will be a batch of newly arrival exotic LPS corals at GO tomorrow.
Ya, juz received SMS notification from GO. Nowadays quite busy, dun think I able to make it.
Anyway, I also dun have much luck with open brain, they always self rot after awhile out of the sudden.
And every time I checked my parameters, all is ok. Really puzzling.

if they happen to nip, reposition the coral on another area where they less frequent
My venustus was nipping on my elegance
I relocated the elegance and feed the Venustus more.
He stopped and the elegance recovered.
But a few months later due to heavy workload, I neglected feeding the fish and he went back to his old habbit....

With less fish, your Sps will does better but it is so Boring to see a tank without fish

do we need to regularly change the rock?
No need, some reefers used their LR for years, some even decades, transferring them from old to new tanks.
It's up to individuals. Sometime ppl changed their LR cos they wanna rescape their tank as they have gonna sick of the aqua scape of their rock work.

hi might want to try hypo-salinity treatment or copper in quarantine tank if your fishes still have ich. Ich only dies in 4-6 weeks if the tank is left fallow (without fish). If fishes are still in your tank, it might take up to 10 months for the ich to die out.
