  1. Hi bro... Keen on the green gonio... Where u located? Edited to remove my hp no...
  2. Lol! I'm a medic from the navy... Vinegar works as well as urine but must be immediate.... I think only NDU divers use urine to show off their courage.
  3. Bro andtsg, I support you. Everything must try then you know. Montipora, bn, milli and pocci can make it in mixed reef tank... It's normal for some to turn brown. For example, my birds of paradise bn is light brown with purple polyps but on the other hand my blue digitata managed to colour until almost purple. Having fun is the most important thing.
  4. Bro CFOh, Sorry too many videos to go through... Lol. Does cf have harlequin shrimps currently? I got sudden explosion of Astaria stars. Bro slayer, does the reddish milli in the very 1st pic of new trio have an id?
  5. Bro Jackie you are insane(in a good way). Frag tank as beautiful as display, power!
  6. Controllable wave maker for sale. 8 speeds and 5 modes to choose from. The coolest modes being pulse and the night mode which automatically comes at night due to light sensor. Comes with 6 month shop warrenty. Less than 12 hours in tank, its now in its original box. Selling because i bought both RW4 and RW8, spend the whole aternoon playing with master/slave syncronatisation but two wavemakers are too powerful for my 3feet shallow, so decide to sell one. Bought at $79.80, taking a $15 hit, now $65. Collection jurong east.
  7. Lobo corals are impossible to kill....
  8. Thanks for the offer, very touched. I already got gsp and golden cloves but thanks for the kind offer.
  9. lol... maybe my post sound very arrogant. sorry give me big discount if not in the west!
  10. anyone? i will self collect if located in west.
  11. 1)Use Led lights and situate the lights far away from water surface 2)dont run too many systems... all the pumps and refrigum lights add heat to water 3) go for shallow tank.. so ratio of surface area to volume is larger 4) prepare ice, cold top-up water.. use them if temp hits above 30C 5) No direct sunlight, place in cool part of your house
  12. Very nice shot! Ipad camera just cannot capture its beauty. Ok thanks for the info, shifted it to low light area.
  13. Bought this on impulse from CF, is it photosynthetic?
  14. For me, cheapest setup would be to run without chiller. Keep all heat producing systems to a minimum. Just the basics- Return pump, 1 bio pellet FR and skimmer.(optional wave maker if return pump not enough) Run dark refriguim as lighting at sump would only contribute heat. For lights, run only LEDs, and situated them as far from water surface as possible. Must be a shallow reef tank so that surface area for evaporation is much higher than water volume. Check my tank thread. My temp never exceeds 29C even on the hottest days.
  15. Sorry if I sounded fierce, seems like bio balls are quite different from other bio media like splintered glass... My bad.
  16. What?! I am sure bio medias are superior to live rock in providing surface area for bacteria. Live rock also do trap dirt and stuff. Routinely cleaning bio media and live rock is the way to go.
  17. Feeling damn sad... Woke up this morning to see the mantle of my desara clam damaged like something had torn off a large chuck of its mantle... Most likely suspects are the boxer shrimp or burgundy starfish... Anyone has experience of these critters going mad and attack clams? Or could it be an undetected hitchhiker?
  18. Regarding one of the iwarna photos, Hi can somebody advice me on what species of sea cucumber the red basket contains? I am looking for a sand cleaner....
  19. Bro if you are going without chiller... Must get led lights and position them further away from water surface.
  20. Bro, i really love this clam alot... Thanks for selling me. Gonna dig my calcuim test kit out and do some testing later.. lol
