  1. Hi. Pls help ID this slug. Found it tonight.
  2. My blue tang started off hiding in rocks when first introduced into tank. After a year, once it's more familiar with the environment, it started to attack my bigger yellow tang. There's always enough food however, I saw that my blue tang seems aggressive in nipping their fins. Even the lawn Benny swimming past his sight, was attacked.
  3. Since this will be big project, you may want to consider extending the underground piping to drain to ease water changes. Of course need to add in ball valves. The advantage of adding the drain line will ensure that in event of tank relocation or maintenance, you can drain all water out of system. No stagnant under ground.
  4. By the way, you may want to consider adding strainers to all your overflow pipes before going underground. Any clogging or blockage will disrupt you overflow process. A fish can also be accidently trapped underground forever....
  5. Bro. Blue Piping from remote sump to 2nd sump under display tank should upsize as you are running on gravity feed. Minimize drilling of holes on 2nd sump. You may want to add partition to the 2nd sump for return pump.
  6. Try to get them into QT that shared the same water or release temporary into sump first. Let them acclimatize first. Once they start feeding normally, then transfer to main tank. Better survival chance.
  7. Any idea what's chalice is this???
  8. I tried strontium and cyano seems to grow. Not sure if it's related. Once I stopped dosing and increase flow, cyano algae seems to disappear. Now, I only use to increase mg and ca.
  9. Your bta close proximity to wp40, wouldn't it get suck by the wavemaker the moment it start shifting location?
  10. If not, rise your pump outlet close to overflow. In that case, you will have lesser water returning to sump, in case of siphoning.
  11. Can a 1/2" check valve with reducer. 5/8 not so common.
  12. If the RBTA is hosted, will it get enough food?mine clowns seem to snatch food from it.
  13. Get the tee screw with nuts. They come in a set. All can get from Teck Cheong. happy profiling...
  14. Get the 80x80 right angle bracket size for the angle support. A bigger web. It's better than the 40x40.
  15. Now trying out some macro on my clown.... Hopefully can get some good photos.
  16. Hi bro. Note of the cantilever effect. Teck Cheong do sell the angle bracket for profile. The last thing you want to see is the lighting becoming submarine.
  17. Thanks. Small width is challenging. So far so good. Rock structure seems to hold.
  18. Added calcium chloride and sodium bicarbonate. Weekly water changes about 10-15%.
