Hi bro. Welcome to reefing. What do u mean by water is ok? There are a few things to take note to have a good water. Checking the TDS and SG level would be 2 priorities. Start off by getting a RO/DI filter. To top up your tank with water first.

Thought of gettin the Jebao WP25 and run on only one wavemaker. But is it enough? im afraid of dead spots. thats my main concern.

Hi bros. Was watching videos of reef tank from brothers in SG over at youtube. When i look at their tentacles of the corals, it sways nicely from left to right. Then i look at my corals and compared. Mine doesnt sway. Mine was literally being "blown" by a fan switch to its maximum speed. So it got me thinking and my question is. How do we calculate how much wavemaker we need as well as the speed? I currently have 2 Jebao wavemakers. Sunsun JVP 101 and JVP 201, on top of my return pump of eheim 1262. Coz i really wanna get that "swaying effect" which makes the corals look extra beautiful.

Hey Sarah. Im a newbie as u as well. Only in the game for a few months. Started my 2ft cube with a hailea chiller, bm nac 3.5 skimmer, skimz FR, T5 lighting, jebao wavemaker and thats about it for a basic setup! And i think chiller is essential for corals unless u wanna go for fish only tank den a fan will do.

i bought New Era Mini Marine Grazers for my livestocks. and my tangs love them! i bought mine from Henry. Just place the food on the wall of a tank and they will start feeding on it. Throw away unfinished food!

how do you train them to eat pellets bro? i tried putting frozen mysis shrimp in a bottle and place the bottle on sand bed. they didnt even enter the bottle. -_-"

yup. i believe nodular do feed on corals. ii have a linkia in my tank and they dont feed on corals.

i have test strips if u want. only use 2 strips. still new. JBL 6 in 1 test strip.

After googling, i believe it is fox coral. Cause theres a see through tentacles coming out from the coral which i believe there is none for pectinia coral?
