  6. Nice tank. Waitig for your clown fish to breed. I love clown fish too. If you really into breeding, you can mix 2 different type of clownfishs for breeding. Camping here to see your results. Good luck mate.
  7. My testing readings: NH4 - <0.25 NO3 - 100 (so high) NO2 - 0 Is this normal? I read that NO3 is the final stage of cycle but it can't be so high right? Is it now I have to find ways to reduce NO3? Hope some reefers can help? I am using Salifert test kit. Shouldn't my NH4 high as my prawn still decomposing in the tank? Thanks.

  9. Hi, When you want to sell your LPS do let me know I am interested. Tks.
  10. Like the idea, now you let me think about better heat release for my new tank in new home.
  11. LOL finally finish reading the last few pages.
  12. I just cannot control myself. While I was reading, it was actually quite funny but at the same time you felt very uneasy. The other reefers are offering so much genuine and sincere advices and you should be glad. I make up my mind to start this hobby around July and been going around asking and reading. It was so tough, you can never imagine, without anything to start with. I should just be like you start the thread from Day 1 and seek advices from the reefers here and save all the hassle but without proper knowledge or I should say being lazy to find out it is just like having the hobby for the seek of having it instead of loving the process and the satisfaction generate from this hobby. Only until September I decided to order the tank I want. But I am not in any way to tell you what to do, it is just an opinion from my side. I have read till page 6 and I hope that the last few pages have something to tell me that you succeed in your tank. Anyway different people walks different paths in this hobby but mostly the same (not in your way). LOL. Best of luck for you in the hobby.
  13. One week after the initial tank setup with the help of the fellow reefer, he asked me to get the Bacteria King. He will give me some live bacteria to help me jump start the tank. Finally can put in a dead prawn to start the cycle. The waiting is so tough for the first timer. I really wish to throw in some livestock but been suppressing myself not to. While I was waiting I did some reading on algae and it seems the algae scrubber looks very useful. I decided to DIY myself. I will post more pics later as I was not in the factory while writing this. Below just the outside of the scrubber. Please give me some advice on my design. Thanks.
  14. Finally finished reading all the pages. The scape is just what I want plenty of islands for corals and tunnels for fishes to swim around. One of these days must invite me to your house to learn from you. LOL. Great tank.
  15. Oh no, I thought I got a bargain, there is even cheaper. Ya that is for holding 100 litres. I should have started the thread from Day 1 when i decided to start the hobby. Now missed out on another good deal. Actually i bought a few unnecessary things hopefully lesser in the near future.
