  1. I have few questions in mind, sorry for noob question. If phosphate reactor helps to export out phosphate in the water and hence reduce the chance of algae to appear so it's beneficial to start phosphate reactor during cycling period, right? How about biopellet and skimmer? Is it beneficial to have these during cycling? Or better to have it after cycled? How about light? I would think not having light during cycling will also helps preventing algae, but does it have effect on the bb development? Thanks
  2. Just curious, if you mix in large container to use for long period of time, how do you prevent deposit? Need to regular stirring?
  3. You can also use pipe to pour sand directly to the bottom in more control manner
  4. Agree on eheim, can use couple of pumps to achieve desired flow rate
  5. If you are referring to Polyart, I never seen marine fish there.
  6. The plank may rot due to exposure to water evaporation, need to watch out
  7. thanks bro marcovan, learnt new thing today
  8. Stunning! So high-tech, almost everything is automated, thumbs up!
  9. Good affordable macro lens, I used it before I stop doing macro photography. Any update on the tank?
  10. Which brand and type of live sand are you using bro? Nice color
  11. That is interesting bro marcovan... I noticed many reefer here soaked rocks in boiled distilled or ro/di water and sun-dried it... How to treat the rock with algae if one want to restart the tank?
  12. Do you use NSW or salt mix? Dose any bacteria product?
  13. 3 weeks cycling period is considered very fast, is it because of daily dose of MB7?
  14. 3) impatient in cycling process and introduce livestock too early in the process when water parameter is still unstable
  15. The bracket needs to be strong to limit the deflection to the level that glass tank can tolerate hence big bracket. Another consideration is on the wall itself. Brick wall may not be able to support big glass tank mounted on it as it may cracks. Perhaps you can consider to cut open the wall to the tank size and let the tank sit partially on the wall and therefore the bracket can be smaller.
  16. Speaking of water change in large tank, which lfs in the west area does supply of nsw in large quantity?
