Got some "somewhat live" rock (ie mature, live but no colouration) to give away (approx 10-20 kg or more, can't really tell), 2 x green chromis, 1 x clown fish, 1 x a goby I caught at East Coast sometime back, as much live sand as u want, some bags of salt/sand, other live thingys, etc. You can also have the 3 foot tank incl sump (slightly rusted door hinges), PL/FL lights, etc. Plse pm me your interest (I don't come into this forum much anymore - your pm will alert me via e-mail). Self collect at Choa Chu Kang/Yew Tee area this Saturday between 10am and 1 pm (strictly, as I am not living there anymore). Preference is for anyone who can take the entire thing lock stock and barrel. Pls pm me and I will let you know if you succeed and tks.

Hi all, as am moving house, have the following for sale: Freshwater tank: Juwel Rio 125 complete with original filter set and 2 x FL lights. Age ard 3 yrs old, still very good condition. Also CO2 tank & regulator and filter material if interested. A couple of angelfish, black widow tetras, etc. May need to redo as current set-up too much algae. Opening bid $200 for above not incl. CO2 tank and regulator. Marine tank: Basic 2.5' by 1.5' by 1.5' tank complete with nyatoh (?) wood cabinet, FL light sets, AC fan and sump (specs ard 2' by 1' by 1' with 3 compartments). Comes with live rock n sand (perhaps over 20kg of rocks and ard 4" of sand bed) and a couple of fish (2 x blue green chromis, 1 x clown fish, 1 x sand goby) and various denizens of the tank (dunno what's in there: 1-2 sea cukes, worms, etc?). Very mature FOWLR tank, which is stable over the last 3 or so years. Cabinet hinges a little rusted from the saltwater. If intersted have also some salt mix, sand, etc. Opening bid $200 for whole set-up (if I like you, include salt mix, etc). Takers have to arrange own transportation and if possible plse include the fish n give them a good home. Highest bidder not necessarily successful bidder as if possible, wld like the fish to have a good home/owner. Plse do pm me by latest end Wed. That's very tough!

Tonite attended my wife's D&D at a 5 star hotel. Half-way thru my red bean dessert, someone else at the table pulled full set of adult (large) wings of a cockroach out of the dessert! All of us were horrified. He then called the F&B Mgr over and showed him. If you were the F&B Manager what wld u do? What happened in this case was they removed the dessert and offered us a fruit platter instead. Now seeing the dessert was definitely mass prepared, how about all the other tables? Everyone else was happily eating away at the dessert. But thinking about it, could they have done anything else? Otherwise cause more panic and upsets. Now open for comment... Moral of story, don't be a poor F&B Mgr!

If u are lazy, there is even a fast food type outfit called satay express...delivered to your doorstep fully cooked and wrapped in foil and in box..like Pizza Hut. One of my frens ordered from them 2 Sundays ago. Sorry, no number but shld be able to find in tel directory. Uncooked satay heard got 1 in Thomson area very good..one of the coffee shops there near the church.

Never, EVER, draw lines....miscommunications/non-communications is what kills relationships, of any sorts.

Come on, pple, 5 days is far better than wasting a Sat morning, right??? Operationally, show must go on for those counter services...how many of u want to take half day leave just to go to HDB or CPF for eg? These I prefer to do on saturdays....I think they did mention that those who have to work Sats can take another of the weekdays off (for eg Mon)...hope this and all other points get paased soon.... Flubbie, imaging an add'l 2 days off to take your son out..
