although it looks jelly it is actually quite hard, you can gently pluck it off. but if you nv tried before or scared, better to take out the rock/etc out of your main tank before you try. because if it burst it will spread(from what I read online).

Why remove molts. I thought they need to eat their own molt for the calcium or something.

Small and fast fishes also no problem. Captive bred clownfish which always in open and nv hide and sleep in plain sight big problem. $100+ per fish food for eel. Shrimps also dont bother keeping. Eel actually seem quite scaredy cat. Food larger than mouth wont eat. Both get bullied by my angel. Food i feed, baby squid, silverside fish, prawn. About 3 to 5 pieces total per eel. They dont really get excited for prawns sometimes. I think chiller is must have. Their shit is very big. So need some flow. Sand size dont too small, your eels will cause sandstorms. Mine think using c3.

Now my temp is kept at 26-27. Hmm I have 2 eel, 2 frostbite clownfish, 2 damsels, 1 French angel, 1 Picasso trigger. However the French angel have some shimmering patches on the skin for very long now maybe discolouration, could be the heat, no idea.

Just fixed up a compressor chiller. Tank temp was 32.5 in the afternoon.

Not too sure. Nv bother with temperature before. But water was warm when dipped my hand in to fish out the prawn. Didnt know dead prawn will turn orange with heat haha. Usually put about 4 to 5hours max nv see change colour before.

When I woke up this morning after feeding my eels raw prawns last night. Saw 1 left over cooked orange prawn this morning. Prawn cooked overnight when it was supposed to be the coolest time of the day. Cant imagine during daytime what kind of torture the fishes going through slowly being cooked.

if you googled care on the sweetlips you will know it is 1 of the hardest fish to keep, even if it survives the ich, it will just die cause it wont eat. even if it does eat your pellet somehow it will still die due to not getting the nutrition it needs.

Think must really see what fishes you keep. Now really too hot the weather.
