  3. Leave a name at Pacific reef. They will call u when it arrives. A few mths back they had a few which no one bought for 2 weeks while they were moving. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  4. I have a thread which states bio pellets as initially working but later not. The reason is simply because my bio load has increased but my bio pellet bacteria `farm size` hasn't. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  5. 45 ppm in 7 days. Or about -7 ppm a day. If his tank load adds +3 ppm a day and his method drops 10ppm a day he gets this result. If your tank loads 13ppm a day and u follow his method and quantity and drop 10ppm a day ur net net still goes up. Aka `it doesn't work`. Get it. It's not just the method all of which revolves around adding different sources of carbon to grow bacteria to export the bad stuff. It's also about the intensity of the method, as every tank generates bioloads at different speeds. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

  9. I don't think this nudi is commonly found in lfs here. I explore before. Also I think it is potentially not coral friendly. U r better off with peppermint shrimp. Pacific reef sometimes come in a lot. I have 2 in my tank. 3 down to 2. Never buy just one. At least 2. Survival rate higher. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  10. What sort of slug? Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  11. Hi all . Always been curious. If can do coil is it more efficient ? And since no need to buy a chiller over time cheaper ? Running a 70gal on a teco tk500 chiller. 0.5bhp. considering further tank to be about 200 gal also. In new house. When it happens. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  12. Who's the builder ? Can't see the guys shirt. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  13. Old couple originally beside the old Pacific reef location ? Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  14. It's a must in sg, just need ambient temp to spike once that's it. Unless the tank is in a commercial Ac building then maybe don't need. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  15. Actually u can just cut the stem off any frag plug then glue the entire thing on the rock. Then just glue the edges to round them onto the rock so that zoa's can grow off the plug. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  16. Pacific reef relocated to geylang . Can find their fb. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  17. Normal. Er.. ur scooter blenny needs pods. Shld only add it after u seed the tank with pods. And u will definitely need more rocks than that to sustain 1. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  18. My algae blenny disappeared also. I realized it was eating lesser. Than gone. Day one was with my rbta and lasted a year. I believe it's cos of diet. Imagine in the wild, they prob had a variety of stuff to eat. In my tank it won't even take pellets. Just hair algae. So their system slowly degrade, then die. I don't feed my corals or anything so the hair algae traps zero stuff except fish wastes. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  19. Just run reef octopus bio sphere , mine dropped from 100 to zero in 2 mths. Keep em topped up. And placed before a skimmer. These balls are basically solid carbon food sources. Same concept as vodka and sugar dosing.but much easier. I change like 10% water every 6 to 12 mths just for the fun of it. Bioload one big yellow tang and 8 small to mid size fishes in a 3 feet lps tank. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  20. Well I don't need to clean my sand. I suppose that's easier. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  21. Im a firm believer of fine sand dsb and it's ability to denitrify below 3 inches in the no o2 zone. My worry was an ugly 4 to 5 inch sand bed so I made the tank a panel to hide the bottom 5 inches. Pic of my tank here 3yo gng strong with below 1point of no3 with the help of some reef octopus biospheres. I believe it's a haven of pod young as well after seeding the sand with tigger and another variety from Pacific reed. 3 feet tank able to sustain 2 small mandarins. 22. Wrapped in plastic bag and conceals in ceramic mugs. Won't die meh? Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  23. Torch r considered mid to tuffer lps. Maybe lightning and flow . Can figure out from the head that died. Lesser light or lower flow side , etc. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
