any cheaper sulphur filter in the market?

very good skimmer I must say. at least I know my $500 is working. maybe tank load is low so only clean weekly...is that effective? the noise will be there after every cleaning of the cup but will become quite after a day.

at last a "taste" of kopi-O and that horrible smell...

already bought and tested the metering pump all ready except a suitable water bottle

what's a peltier? seems like there is a wire attached to it.... what is it for? is the heat-sink going to touch the salt water? any contamination concern? as for power consumption, I guess is up to the power adapter used. bill should be very low.

so.. what to do with the undissolve minerals? I left it in separate container for 1-2 days and stir occasionally still cannot dissolve.

let say there is a small tubr of trace element included...how to add? if into the salt direct....difficult to even out and salt tends to stick

quick fix is what I need! currently kalk stirrer is too X and calcium reactor too troublesome and X... I will try to DIY the container portion to save some $$$....$100plus for a container abit too X also

can I know after you mix the tunze Tunze Calcium Hydroxid it will dissolve totally like salt or sugar? any undissolve Calcium Hydroxid after mixing? or sometime after mixing, say few hours or a day later?

noise problem seems to have improved....perhaps when it is new or after cleaning the motor noise is louder .. otherwise should be quite alright. still that same old workhorse. realise one good point of this skimmer design is the "neck" (if any ) is actually the cup.. so everytime I clean ...both cup and neck clean together. still trying to find that sweet spot .. as in the height of the cup, water level and air
