There are some algae behind my frag, im not sure if i should brush those out or not, im afraid it might be hair algae and it might take my tank over. So now in contemplating if i should just get rid of the frag or brush it off and see what happens Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

Thank you for the help! Got another xenia, unfortunately the first one really didnt make it, the 2nd xenia frag is doing very well! Did a water change first then acclimated for a good 2 hours before putting it in the tank. It opened up right away! I guess acclimating anything alive wil be a good rile of thumb. Ididnt acclimate it cause the lfs guy said for xenia it isnt really needed, yea im kinda thinking maybe the tanks too clean but then i had a few snails that died inside too, 4 astrea snails but for the snails i think its cause of starvation?? I have a 12g tank with dry rock and live san (caribsea arag-alive) and its been running for about 21 days now. Only started dosing microbacter7 on the 19th day with an initial 2.5ml dose then dosing 1ml daily plus phantom feeding the tank. Planned to dose for 2 weeks as per the bottle. Does anyone know if im dosing the correct amount? Or am i doing something wrong here? I bought a wave maker, jebao rw 4 and a tunze ato nano. Yup, im planning to get an external skimmer or maybe a cheato reactor. Started adding microbacter7 too to speed up the cycling process then ive been phantom feeding my tank with pellets too. What do ya’ll think about microbacter7? Helpful or no?
