I'd still prefer to nuke them... this bugger can extend to almost 3 times in length from what you see here. I cannot stand it.

Hi Simon, Great looking tank you have there. Just beef up the nutrition for the powder brown and you shall see recovery very soon. Keep the pics coming.

I did the self drive too and I couldn't agree more with RAV-65, the flexibility and freedom that came with driving is amazing! D.A: Nice pics, keep coming. -
wow there seems to be quite a number of rollerbladers here... u guys still blading regularly?

Queensway is alright but for variety you could check out the shop near east coast mac... u'll be spoilt for choice there. u may have to shop around to find the cheapest for what u want. About budget, getting a decent pair for $200 would mean buying a Macro Needlewheel skimmer when we know Deltec and H&S is the real deal.

I guess yr GF would probably like those shoelace design kind of blades (as compared to those strap on kind)... Decent ones probably cost around $300 plus. I'd tried Rollerblade, Salomon and K2. In terms of comfort, Salomon (IMO) is the best. It'll mould and fit to your feet. You shld be looking at 1) the frame (aluminium then more X) 2) the bearings (ABEC what?) 3) the inside fit... (somehow there are some blades that I'd always be uncomfortable in... u have to try to find out)

Food is cheap... if you're daring to try the roadship stalls. I can tell you their thai fishball noodles is better than thai express or thanying thai... cost only around 50-70 singapore cents. Think i stayed in chaba resort. Check out the view from the pool...

Went there 2 years ago... One thing I liked about Koh Samui is that; the sand outside the hotels is already very fine and white, the seawater is damn clear. Also, as compared to Phuket, the beaches are less commercialised. There are no tanning chairs for loan (unlike Phuket) and the beaches looks less disturbed. Not sure about the situation now. Its kind of vague now but there's a "full moon" party or something like that every fortnightly or bi-monthly... I remembered some reefers here went... perhaps they could share their experience?

yeah i did. beautiful place. if you're planning to go there and knows how to dive, remember to book a trip to ko tao (spell?). the underwater life there is amazing (p.s. i snorkel only)... IMO nicer than phuket.

Anybody came across any male dispar and female lyretails? -
errr... actually when i say ditch i mean throw it in yr sump or something similar... i hope you didn't do it literally? anyway nice acans. how much did you get it for? (pm if inconvenient?)
-
Hi Alien07, I noticed you'd got a choco chip beside your acan. You may like to consider ditching the starfish, otherwise your corals may be in trouble...
-
Very nice AT specimen you have there... care to share where you got it?

KTLK, By using the deniballs means no need for regular dosage of denimar powder? Or requires regular dosing of denimar? The deniballs are supposed to melt and disappear into the denitrator? -
I bet yr sixline will whack the hell out of the solar wrasse. Sixlines are damn bloody territorial. Last time when before I gave away my sixline, it killed 2 fairy wrasse that I bought, giving them no time to hide and climatise... They dogfight in and out of my LRs, its very stressful to watch. Naturally, the sixline won since it know the hiding places at the back of its hands... Brine and mysis shrimps are good for solar wrasse. Just to share, i recently added 3 female and 1 male dispars. The solar does not harass the new additions at all. Very peaceful!
