  1. Hello, I am looking for RODI canister wrench, does anyone have a spare? [emoji28] or know where can I get it. Apparently I can’t find anyone else with such issue online [emoji24] Thanks in advance! I’m using zer0 5 stage rodi unit [emoji1324]‍♂️ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Hi fellow reefers, I have an 8 gallon cube tank and I was wondering what kind of wavemaker/powerhead should I use? Planning to move from softies/lps tank to a mixed reef. I was thinking of the jebao ow-10 but have not seen any reviews about it. Afraid that it is an overkill in a nano. Any input is appreciated. [emoji4] Happy reefing! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hi fellow reefers, anyone know where I can get the above? I’m looking for the bundle and not the individal bottles. F&M does not carry it and i really need it to go along with NoPox. Thanks in advance. [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Hi anyone WTS/WTG chaeto in the east? or know any LFS that stocks them? Thanks. [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Hello, first of all would like to wish my fellow reefer happy CNY! [emoji4] Started this hobby around 3-4 months back and I’ve been through alot of ups and downs, however the motivation I get from seeing corals and fishes thrive always outweigh the cons! I enjoy learning how to troubleshoot issues by reading articles and forums, which explains why I rarely post anything to ask for solution. However recently I experience a hiccup in my journey. As observed, there seem to be some kind of algae(?) growth on my corals and its affecting their colouration and cause my acan to be all shriveled up. It is also growing on the back of my snails. It is semi green/brownish and very hairy however I do not know the exact ID. Hope someone here can help [emoji17] My sandbed is experiencing lots of brownish algae outbreak, and sometimes my glass too. This i troubleshoot by stirring the sand and a magnet scraper but it still comes back after a day or two My nitrate lvls are 20ppm and phosphates are at 0.5ppm. could this be the cause? 6. Hello fellow reefers, I have recently fallen in love with this hobby online and I know it will be worth getting my hands on. Before you guys start telling me how a 10 gallon is not ideal for a beginner, I know. But I like the challenge. Here is a picture of setup. My tank have just finished cycling and nitrates are currently at 20ppm/- I got 4 astreas and 4 nassaurius snails as my CUC. I have an IOS at the back with three compartments however I have not put in any kind of filtration media or what sort, just a return pump from chiller to display tank. I was hoping to ask 1) What kind of filtration is best for a 10gallon? chemipure blue, filter wool? 2) What is the most affordable lighting to keep lps and softies, and sps in the future. The lighting I have is provided together with the tank and it has no brand or anything stated. However it is the same tank found in Pinnacle on display against the wall (?) I have owned a firefish for a day and it died and I noticed it has scraped its bodies and it was bleeding. My guess is it has hurt himself while hiding. (may or may not be true, im not a doctor) I've had a true percula clown for two days and I woke up in the morning and it was on the floor, all dried up. [emoji17] Having a little post-traumatic fear now at how unlucky I am to have caused two fishes to lose their lives under my rookie care. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you. Any critism will also be appreciated as I am willing to learn and hopefully be a knowledgable reefer one day! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Hi, thank you for your response. [emoji4] I will probably start small with the snails and then go up. Thinking of nassaurius and astreas. As for the temperature issue, I have one from the chiller probe and one digital one i bought from the LFS and one shows 27 and one shows 29. I know it is only a small difference but i just want to know which temperature is more accurate, which i assume should be from the chiller probe(because its more expensive?) But thanks a lot mate. 8. I currently have a 10gallon and I need advice on how many snails should i put? I have a 1 inch sandbed and a small diatom bloom from cycling. Next, I have two submersible thermometers for my tank however both show two different readings so I don't even know which one is correct. That brings me to my next question, are those cheap thermometers from LFS reliable? maybe can send me a pic of yours too! cheers! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. hey, mind giving a run through on your current setup now? [emoji4] currently cycling my 10 gallon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. Hi, new to the hobby and I realise that getting a refractometer is not as simple as it looks. I am getting one with calibrating fluid. How is this different than using RODI water? and what if my cal. fluid runs out? any LFS sells them? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
