  1. looking to trade a BRAND NEW Jebao rw 20 for a Jebao rw4 & Eheim 1000 pump collection at 789212
  2. thanks for ur advice! currently with my water cycle, i see stuff settling at the bottom and its not being filtered =/ hopefully the spin stream will help. yah i dont think my nano can hold sps anyways. probably will look for small wavemaker like u said.
  3. may i know what pump are u using now? i probably need options if this pump dies on me lol!! may i know if u have a wavemaker in ur IM20? i think the IM10 is too small for a wavemaker. i have read of reefers who trim the blades to make the wavemaker less "powerful". i ordered a spin stream nozzle becos the flow is too weak.
  4. actually i just got my IM10 haha. doing water cycle now so i have nth in my caddy yet. planning to put chaeto and rowa. currently i have the ghost skimmer running
  5. hi! have you managed to find a "cure" to the noise? i just bought an IM10 and also find that the return pump that comes with it is a little noisy.
  6. chemipure is convenient but i think it's not wallet friendly. $10 every 6 weeks........
  7. I believe water is really the foundation of any tank, even more so for a nano tank. so really need to be patient and ensure water is stable before introducing fishes and corals. we wouldn't build our house with straws because the big bad wolf will blow our house down. same theory for a tank. haha. all the best and hope you will persevere with this hobby!! fighting~!
  8. though u have decommed a year ago, this thread has been so encouraging for those who are contemplating a nano/pico tank (like me).
  9. i like how your posts have gone from dying fishes to such a healthy and flourishing tank! success story, definitely encouraging
  10. any updates on ur tank? have u started keeping sps? i heard it is almost impossible to keep sps in a nano tank because the water parameters swing too much!
