  6. Hi guys, I don't own a ULNS or SPS Dominated tank, but I was wondering why Red Sea recommends their regular Red Sea Reef Salt over their Coral Pro Salt in such systems. Since SPS have a higher demand than LPS or Softies for the three main elements, wouldn't they benefit even more with the Coral Pro Salt over the regular Red Sea Reef Salt? It states that there are no nitrate or phosphate contaminants in the salt, so I don't see the benefit of using a reef salt that provides less of the foundation elements, especially in a demanding SPS tank. Asking as I've been using this salt for quite some time already and wondering if I should just get the cheaper salt and dose instead. Thank you:) Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

  9. Hey guys, I have an Ocellaris that keeps hanging out in my Gonio, it's funny but it causes my Gonio to retract back into its body. Would this be a problem long term? And will it be fine? Or is there no problem? Do I have to get an RBTA for it to stop? Thanks:) Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

  15. Hey guys I recently got a Blue Tang and it's very active and swims well, and eats brine shrimp dipped in Garlic Guard. I noticed that it had weird worm like things popping out of his or her anus. What should I do to treat it? Thank you. Also, how do I get it to eat seaweed? None of my fish go near the seaweed on the clip. Couldn't get a very clear picture as he or she is pretty active. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  16. Hi guys what SPS is this? Polyps are bright metallic green and branches are pretty thick, relative to the Bird's Nest right beside it. Was told it was of the Acropora family, does this mean it will be difficult to keep? Thank you:) Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

  22. Hey guys I recently visited a fellow reefer and noticed his chiller took a very short time to lower his temp about 1 or 2 degrees. Meanwhile my HS 66A takes about 1.5h to lower my temp by 1 degree. What can I do to better increase my chiller's efficiency? Thank you:) It is used at a 4(L)*2.5(H)*1.5(W) tank. 23. I see, got me thinking as I remember them being more green a day or two ago. Thanks:) Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  24. Hey guys, so recently I got a new green tip gonio and it's extending very nicely:) However, I noticed two polyps have turned a bit more white than the others. Should I think about this? Or is it just normal? I don't feed my corals, and at daylight I have my Zetlight ZT6600 (sold to me by a very nice reefer) on at around 124W for 5 hours. Is it because of the lack of feeding? Because as far as I know gonios are photosynthetic like most other corals. Thank you:) Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  25. Also letting go of a very nice BN frag along with this, sold by a very nice reefer to me but unfortunately the SPS consumption of various nutrients is giving me a headache being only a beginner hahahah. Very healthy and has no issues as far as I can see. Going to stick with my softies for a while for now. Very good polyp extension. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
