the wood is this colour because it is painted with epoxy paint to resist saltwater spray.

Erm ok.. Here's some more info. The overflow is on the right side the sump has 2 compartment with 2 holes drilled for external pump. If dun want the hole can just seal it away. i can help you seal it with acrylic. The overflow consist of 2 pipe. 1 actually is for return but i nvr use it so both of it become the overflow pipe instead.

coral chips are sharp. use grade 1 or 0. and they are very sensitive to water parameters. i dun think 5' is enough. best if u can get a tank that is wide

that doesn't look like a bobbit worm.. more like fire or bristle worm..didn't know that they eat live fishes like bobbit worms..
