I've seen algae turf scrubbers being recommended by many but I cant seem to find any ready made ones available in Singapore. Hi guys thanks for all the comments, turns out it is a faulty digital refractometer. SG was 1.038. @davey helped me out to check my water and it was terrible. All it took was faulty equipment. Hi fellow reefers, my salinity keeps dropping daily. Can't seem to figure it out. What are the possible reasons for this? Any help/suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks! Btw it has wiped all my corals due to me constantly fighting to raise the salinity. Fishes are fine but might have to restart the tank which I'm hoping to prevent. Hi guys, noob reefer here, just wanted to ask you guys if there are any gyres that would not be too powerful for a 16g nano reef. I'm thinking of adding either a wave maker or a gyre to the system but can't seem to find any gyres that are suited for a nano reef. Any thoughts or suggestions would be most welcome.
