  4. It looks like a spaghetti worm! Its a good clean up crew cos it eats all the leftover food and waste from the fish. Some people get rid of it because its unsightly and scary but if you dont mind this guy's tentacles then leave him in
  5. I don't think many people use this but Nearth regendip M+ has been working very well for me! Its a fish dip that I use to remove any external parasites when I introduce new fish into the tank (without quarantining because I don't have space for a quarantine tank). I've introduced like 5 more tangs and alot of other fish into my tank this way and no fish have died from any parasites so far for about half a year already after ich wiped out my tank. This dip can also be used to treat sick fish but I havent had any sick ones so far so not sure if it works as well as copper or paraguard

  9. ooh nice tank! I was considering putting a pipe like yours also! Thanks for the advice i think I’ll consider putting in a pipe at an angle with his main opening at the front of my tank - smth similar to yours Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  10. Ooh that’s true! I just fed my eel a molly with my tongs!! The molly actually escaped and the eel was like frantically poking at the wrong places around the molly trying to find it [emoji23] I guess that’s a start to it hunting them right? Did it take long for yours to get used to hunting mollies? Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  11. Ooooh that’s true! Have you had the saltwater mollies breed in your tank? I’ve heard that they actually reproduce faster in a saltwater tank HAHA Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  12. Wow nice tank! Maybe I should add more rocks as caves too! The pipe abit ugly [emoji23] and that’s a lot of effort to drip the mollies HAHA I just dumped like 3 into the salt water and somehow they survived!! Thanks for sharing with me by the way! Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  13. Ooooh!! That’s a rlly nice eel!! Does it have any pipes or anything to hide in? Or does it just hang out around your rocks? Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  14. Oooh!! How did you get him to hunt mollies? Did you just throw them into the tank? Hahaha and post a pic of your eel! Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  15. I feed it a piece of silverside every other day! This guy has been with me for about 3 weeks now and it took him awhile to start eating so i try to feed less but more often to get him comfortable with people!! I actually added in some freshwater mollies in a bid to get him to hunt and eat awhile back but he didnt find any interest in them!! still have one molly swimming around somewhere in my tank... Here's one of the nicer pics I have of him! (sorry for the blues I didnt have a lens filter on!)
  16. Hello! Does anyone have any ideas on how I can upgrade my ribbon eel's hideout spot? He's starting to get more comfortable around people so im thinking of upgrading its hideout! Feel free to share videos/pics of your eel hideouts as well! I've attached a cool video of him eating a half a silverside if anyone's interested!! IMG_4101.MOV
  17. Same! I never hear before also and I don’t know the other parameters except the KH, mag and calcium (lfs only told me these 3) haha I’m looking to change salt because of costs and s5 is having a promotion for this salt so it’s slightly cheaper than other salts But yeah probably will look into the more common brands!! just wondering if anyone has used it hahaha Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  18. Has anyone used this salt mix for their reef tanks? I'm thinking of changing my salt mix from Red Sea Coral Pro to this OceanLife salt but I cant find much information or feedback on this salt besides it's basic parameters of Kh 9.6, Mg 1350 and Calcium 470. Any other opinions/advice/feedback on whether I should make the switch to this salt is also greatly appreciated!
  19. Ahh I see!! Thanks for your input!! Hopefully mine gets to the colour of yours soon! Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  20. Yeah! I was wondering how I could get my anemone to become this colour! its more natural too Did it take long for your anemone to become this colour? What did you do to help it get its colour (if you bought yours white/bleached)?
  21. Hmmm I’ve been reading from forums that a white sebae is a bleached sebae! Normal sebae colours are usually brown/tan tho... so now I’m not too sure hahaha Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
