  7. ho ho ho i found a guy that does acrylic tanks....quite cheap.....hehe, to be more accurate, he makes those acrylic containers for tau huey and chin chow drinks. let you guys know how it turns out. could be im wasting my time and money. what can i say, desperate times calls for desperate measures. henry
  8. Hi everyone, not sure if this is the right place to post my question, but it seems the most appropriate to me. so here goes. i wanna buy a small acrylic tank for a nano reef. the cheapest custom quote i have is $250 for a 2ft X 2Ft X 15". does anyone know of a shop that sells ready made acrylic tanks? im thinking they might be cheaper than $250. thought about glass, but i like acrylic a whole lot better. please help bros, my addiction getting serious. withdrawal symptoms starting...... henry
  9. hi all, i know its a little out of topic here, but why not consider starboard tanks? i read this bomber guy's thread in rc, and a loooong read it is, and what he says makes sense (at least to me). lots of currents to skim the crap outta there before it can form nitrates. and this other guy, idrhawke (wrong spelling?), drains the bottom of his dsb quite often. lots of stinky stuff according to him, definite no no for tanks. so what do you think? i know they're fugly, but the ones shown aren't half bad. my next tank gonna be a starboard. henry
  10. I don't know man....they don't look too scary to me.... look like what I ate in Seletar Camp back in my NS days
  11. can tell me what grade is your sand?
