  3. Dun think it's wise bro. THey'll be snacks for the Butterflies
  4. Yeah, reduce any contact with water to the min. Or are you talking bout Salt Solution?
  5. Yo,welcome on board! Regarding the centipede, i think it's called Bristleworm. Should not posse a thread to your lifestock, they may damage Corals but i dun think fishes are affected by them. THey have beneficial effects to the sand-bed as well. If yours is a FOWLR tank, you may wanna get some worm eating fishes to finish it off. If not, find it's lair and use a chopstick. (that's what i did) As for the fish dying, i think more details on water parameters and etc will help
  6. Hmm.. Dun see why not, should be ok. Cos Tangs eat vegie, won't really prey on the ###### Shrimp. What is your concern?
  7. By right Maroon clown is very hardy one leh, eats anything. Maybe you want to observe a few more days,if it persists, sth may be wrong with it..
  8. Think the best idea is to switch to lower flow area to check it out first. Cos LPS generally dun need that much current
  9. Yo! Guys,i have this question, hope some of you can enlighten me. Usuallly we determine pump spec by tank size. How bout the overflow? Is it possible that the pump flowrate is faster than the speed the overflow can pull out water? Also,is it possible to pre-drill a tank so that the return is at the bottom of the tank to create bottom current? (Reduce sight of pipes ) Any negative side effects? Thx for taking time to read!!!
  10. Yo! THink if it is just introduced, probably due to stress. Just less how humans turn pale when shocked If it is prolonged, means there is a constant stressor in your tank and it must be discovered. Maybe due to water Parameters or even tank-mate aggression. Hope this helps
  11. Yup. Lights is just one of the factors affecting algae growth. If water conditions are kept at optimum, namely low phosphate and nitrate, then nuisance algae wouldn't have much chance to flourish. However, with 400w, i think other types of algae will grow like crazy too right?
  12. Yo dude! Looks kinda more red than black to me. Could be Cyno.. Izzit growing?
  13. Yo! I was just wondering, could it be due to your test kits? What brand you using?
  14. Actully if the crabs are not causing any harm, they should be quite useful as scavengers right?
  15. Yup,the Anthias will be like feeder fishes..
