hi everyone, selling my tank as im heading overseas to study. condition of tank and sump is good, but some minor work on the piping is required. 1. 3x2x2.5FT tank, glass is 10MM thick, comes with cabinet 2. sump tank, 51x51x51cm 3. return pump from sump, is an Ehiem 1260 4. Macro Needlewheel skimmer. forgot the model, but its 41cm high, and cost me $190. used for 4 years. 5. 2 sets of DIY T5 lights( 4 tubes) with reflector 6. 2 sets of 24HR programmable timer 7. have some leftover seachem carbon and phosphate remover, as well as aquapharm kalkwasser. tank was bought from eAquarist everything for $350 preferbably 1,2, and 3 go together. i stay in the east (pasir ris) do come and view the tank prices are all negotiable (= SMS or call me at 96998608 or PM me thanks!

well its just basic open water you're looking for? basic open can be done in SG, at Pulau hantu. but vis may get shitty, like 3 m? but still, i took it cos its cheaper, more convienient.and its really just a basic qualification. and after that the Advanced open water then can spend more and take in Msia. or i think you can look for trips that do both basic and advanced kinda at the same time.hahahhaha dont know if thats possible. www.scubashot.com.sg

(1) is e collection cup and where the skimmate shld be. as there is a hole and small tube under the collection cup (2), the skimmate can actually flow off into a bottle(4) or other container u use, hence u dont need to clean the cup so often. hehehe (3) is not supposed to be so dirty. that is the coulour of the skimmate but since i kinda forgot to adjust my skimmer after my last water change where i changed the level of water in my sump, the skimmate just collected there. but no worries cos its easy to clean and it should end up in the cup once adjusted properly. yeah.

my tank is 3x2x2.5 i use 4xt5 tubes. most people use a combination of MH and T5 but is just T5 good for LPS? i mean MH is certainly better and i think T5 is "enough". but if i want my assorted LPS to be HAPPY will just t5 with proper feeding be enough?for them to live long and happy lives.

my tank is 3x2x2.5 but i cant remember if im using as 100 or 150p..... but i think that the noise level is ok actually, cos more impt is how u place the needlewheel pump. there will be vibration, its that rattling on e glass that causes the sound..... i put mine on an eggcrate. but the bubble production wise is ok...the foam gao gao..hahahah can post pics of it if u want. used mine for 2 years already, and its easy to adjust with a big red knob.ummmmm maintenance wise is mainly the needlewheel pump gotta clean and rinse to maintain the quality of foam. oh and also the return hose may have a bit of bubbles escaping too, which may get into main tank. BUT otherwise, i love my skimmer. (mayb cos i havnt tried reef octo) whats the prices like now btw?
