  2. on all electronic timer

that model of yours i used it before for my lights. but one of the switch out of 3 got "stucked" and can't be controlled anymore after a year of using. so try not to stress it too much by switching too often .

I see... thanks for sharing... will try to rotate the use since I won't using using all of them ThanxSmiley.gif

  3. hmm....

seems like everyone is in the radiant wrasse craze? such a common fish yet so beautiful. this fish used to go unnoticed during africa shipments... now everyone is talking about it.

good publicity for this fish. a true beauty that's so often over looked.

Yeah... I was deciding between between a 6-line and radiant (6-line is so many times cheaper :P). I chose the latter as I can safely add fish in the future..... 6-line, I read, is an anti-newbie.... lol

It takes sometime to really appreciate the beauty. I visited henry 3 times and each time I do not find it nice.... :P

I am glad I grab one as I had really grown to love it, the way it swims, it feeds, it dives into the sand leaving the floating particles.... etc.

i thought of ordering this from fish-street.

  6. u been to my place right and saw the big pods under my algae scrubber black sponge??

think it'll stay there for awhile as long there's food source supply

Yeah! But not on a net mah.... lol....

Maybe you can sell your mesh by square inch next time.... w00t.gifw00t.gif

  7. 4hr? i only acclimatized for 30mins to balance the temperature, and then dripped at 3-4 drops/second for another 15-20mins, removed 50% water, dripped another 15-20mins then released the fish.

Well, I rather waste a few more hours than to waste a fish friends.gif.

    But, that's only me ;)

  8. I fail to search it here. But I remember distinctively that the sine wave produced by the UPS is not the same as the sine wave the motor in our equipment use. Hence, the motor might get damaged if used with UPS that is created for pc and server. I even remember that the UPS seller in the thread warned against using the UPS for equipment power back up, same reasoning too.

As far as I remember, UPS usually will give you a more stable Sine Wave compared to direct socket. Which is why I wonder how it could affect the equipments negatively.

Anyway, I will try go find out more from those engineers, thanks!

  9. Hope I will see mine soon. My wrasses always MIA first then come out after a week. Those that dun :rip: , sad.

How you acclimatize your fish? I dripped mine for about 4 hrs 2-3 drop/second, drop bag into sump for another 30 mins to balance the temperature before introducing into the main tank.

  10. OK i know how liao i can place a fine net under my algae scrubber outlet and after a week it should be able to collect pods of certain size of the net hole

    WAH! Idea leh.....

but the bigger pods will stay on the net for one week waiting for you meh? lol

  11. i went about 7pm+ ... i got the super active wrasse, the only visible wrasse ... where all the others are hiding inside the sand :P

I told Henry I want the biggest wrasse. Maybe that's the reason it wasn't as shy as the ones you guys got.

Mine started feeding immediately and spent his/her first few hours exploring the tank until the lights went off.
