Are you very certain it'll last that long? I do have one that I bought from those live bait fishing shops. I was worried it wouldn't last that long, that's why I'm looking for other alternatives.
Well, I assume they could only get better...
We usually just use a pair for over night fishing under Sheares Bridge.... definitely more than 12 hrs.... (that was more than 10 years ago)
All I remember was Energizer "D" size batteries

Peace, since u have mp10 why not consider the battery backup from vortex? I'm planning to set up ups for my she tank as well, but still in oplanning stage. It will cos u approx 300, that will power ur mp10 for 3 to 7hrs. If u want a cheaper option, get a battery powered air pump. It actually can cover a blackout for 2 to r hrs.
Battery operated air pumps can usually last more than 12 hrs on 2 energizer D size ...

As far as I know, some UPS might not be good to be used for our aquarium equipment due to the different electrical wavelength. If the UPS is designed for pc or server use, it's not to be used for our equipment. Learnt it here in SRC.
Interesting.... Any good link for a start?

(Referring to your topic.... lol )I believe we are not required to type British English here, but you might want to know there is difference between DIY (Do-it-Yourself) and Customized. Unless you are really having the intention to DIY one....

Hi Billy....
Where you planned to get it from?
From local SM Control? Or?
I am just expressing my interest for anyone interested to organize a BO.
-
Hi Billy...
I suppose the pricing stated above is for the MeanWell LPC series....
That unit price is SGD?
Does it include freight charges?
It should be the payable amount in SGD already. But usually, they do not include GST yet.
-
I am keen in getting,
2 x Mean Well LPC-60-1050 constant current driver
1 x 5.9" x 9" Aluminum Heat Sink
-
My contractor just got back. I don't think its cheap...
$48 and $58 respectively, and I suspect GST not included.
-
Hi bro...
Precisely....
Not sure how good is their service and their freight charges....
I was trying their shipping cost. Seems like the amount to be ship have little effect on the shipping cost and will not exceed $25USD (tried ordering $3kUSD worth of drivers and heat sink) . Seems worth doing a MO.
But, seems they do not have much stocks left for Mean Well LPC-60-1050 constant current driver for now though.
PS: I am not sure if they are really cheaper over all and if their warranty international (for LED driver)...

Meanwells are made in China but funny thing is no chinese ebayer or reseller selling it...
Ebay is not a popular option in China. This is what I found in 淘宝 (in RMB).
I am asking my Electrical contractor to check with his suppliers if they can find these (Meanwell LPC 35 and 60).
Will keep in you guys posted once he get back to me.

My experience based on IQ4 is very prone to scratches easily... its the worst nightmare!!!! No matter how careful you can be, somehow, somewhere, some sand may just scratch the surface... outside still nvm, can use polisher but inside... nothing much you could do.....
There is a rumor that melamine sponge (such as Mr. Clean) may be able to remove fine scratches.
I've also seen a lot of different melamine sponge sold in Daiso. You may want to give it a try.

I am using the redsea coral pro bundled with my RSM. i mixed with the given instructions (1kg - 30l), but my mg test reads 800-900 only. I did the test for every water change... i think 3-4 times already.
Did you mix it in a separate container and test it? I couldn't help as I didn't purchase the Mg test kit too
