Hi guys, jus noticed that on my LR near to where my anemones host my 2 ocellaris clowns, I noticed a lot of substances that look like the salmon roe that we eat for sushi. I think they're clwns eggs, very light orange in color. Question is: Is it possible for me to see the eggs hatch and the rear the fries? Heard from someone that it's almost impossible to rear the fries?

What? A bite? Won't the lionfish eat the wrasse? Tot a wrasse would fit the mouth of a lionfish...

Anyone knows what's the reason for such bloom? Is it due to lack of predator? My tank also has lots of critters crawling ard recently... Will there be any harm in the long run?

Do u guys keep lionfish with other fishes like tangs? I wonder if the fast moving nature of these fishes stress out the lions???

What do u guys define coralline algae? DOes it mean those that stick to rocks like a coating? I always tot coralline are only purple...

Hi, anyone care to shed some lite or share exp whether egg crates can withstand the heat from T5 lites. Was thinking of putting a layer of crate on top of tank as cover as i intend to keep fire goby. My T5 are not fixed to anything, I left them on the top bracing of my tank. So was thinking if I just put my lite tubes on the egg crate. However, I also worry abt the problem when the lite can't properly penetrate the crate into the tank.

Just to let u know I was quoted $120 for 400+ litres. $80 is quite worth it already. If not u can beg, borrow,steal those containers and borrow a lorry to transport water back. I did this some time back for my 3ft tank too...

Sorry bro, Can I learn from you how did you place your tube worms? put it under rocks? Or jus put into any holes in the rock? Did u And from yr knowledge, any fish likely to pick on it. Bought one last time, the next day it was gone, like being eaten up like that...

Hi all, may I know where is the most suitable place to place Seagel. Was told by the LFS i bought the pdt from to put in last compartment of the sump. One of the reefer here mentioned at the outflow, that is the place where the water from main tank flow into the sump. Which one makes better sense? My sump has 3 compartments. 1st is chips, 2nd is skimmer, 3rd is return pump. Do I need to submerge the Seagel? Or can I just let the water drip through it at the pipings?
