She only knows nemo. so every single fish is nemo to her shes into penguins though. thanks to happy feet. flubberina's tank? hehe.. i saw it recently.. i think the construction of it giving her some problem so now the tank is very very ''spacious'' as shes still trying to fix the problem. you all will never believe thats flub's tank...

i am a fan of angels too. in fact, find some more aggressive than triggers. was successful with emperor, french, majestic, blue-face, lemonpeel in the same tank, together with triggers I love flame but strangely was never successful with them. butterfly will be difficult for me to maintain. now i thinking triggers first or angels, before the lone damsel in my tank gets too bold.

Redoing my 4ft FOWLR. been away for too long. forget too many things abt the hobby. -Intend to keep fishes to minimum (If I can resist) -low maintenance fish (hence no lionfish..sob sob) -active fishes. -character fishes. TRIGGERS! any recommendations? and order of introduction? thanks alot

You've restarted too ! GREAT. I was actually thinking of just a damsel tank. Went to LFS and the sight of the triggers, angels and many familiar fishes whose name I can't recall then threw my plan out of the windows. Time to do my ''research and reading'' again. He has not groom the next generation. Gen 2 only knows NEMO. period. Bet Anthias can rattle off names of all the fishes and corals in LFS

He busy saving the world in another 'alternative dimension' so that this world is safe and we can carry on reefing.

Finally found the time to 'spruce up' my neglected FOWLR after nearly 2 years hiatus. I am dreaming of angels and triggers again... so many choices.. so small a tank... next.. to nag at better half to 'redo' his tank...

one morning, woke up to see a yellow fin dangling from my dwarf lion's mouth. lion+damsels=bad

used to have a tri-color lorri from papua new guinea. had it for abot 10yrs! wonderful pet. behaves like one of the member of the family. we dont chain it so it hopped and 'flew' around the house. great personality but parraots are noisy n messy pets.

congrats from DB and I. the shots look artistic and good! am sure the rest of the 'undarkened ones' are better! your wife so pretty, what a pity not to show the 'normal' shots. dun worry, things will be perfect tomorrow! enjoy yourself . cheers

Anthias, are u rubbing it in? i know u have nice long hair whereas i have only 88 strands!! since mummy shaved me @4months, the hair growth has been negligible! Rae "eat what u cannot keep"? u mean skimmate included??? heard its filled with proteins and minerals. maybe can go and 'pluck' algae(since theres sooo much algae) from db's tanks n fry with mushrooms... now i am hungry............

sting ray is meant for the table with chilli by the side! tat day, my little nephew before his meal, saw the fish on the table and commented "FISH so poor thing" and when he was younger, used to greet "hello fish" to his food before commencement! dun wan rae to grow up screaming "MURDERERS" everytime we have seafood!

chris, i very bo liao today ... no mood to work.... flubberina, thanks for the yummy treat... we should do this again and again and again.. next one on me.. and when u free go shopping? though i not very much into reefing. (corals too chim n ex for me), fishes still can manage... but had always enjoy the sharing culture that SRC HAD.... and reefers were more humble and friendly. oh well... i rant on. still looking to add fishes to my tank.. i so embarassed by it..

if i has a boy.... his name would be Isaac (is it issac?, aiyo, u guys confuse me!) its a real beautiful name..

the thought of the 4 little ones around the table 'building lego' blocks crack me up.. should seriously consider doing it one of these days.. or wait till when 4 becomes 5?

my princess trigger had been keeping us very busy... she has yet to meet uncle ek. seriously, when can invite us for house n tank warming? ur tank n occupants coming up nicely... or you can come over and ta-bao the zoos...

i hear triggers! i see triggers! DA, nice tank and even nicer triggers... waiting for the next shipment of black triggers. BH, i had blue chin and niger in same tank. they are ok. but then again, each trig had their own personality. so hard to predict. blue chin are very shy triggers. n if want to buy, buy the male as only male have the blue sheen. pinktail trigger (another beauty) also considered reef safe but the one i had abit siao...

some sharing: use to use the container method but realise that it sometimes stresses the fish more as they feel '######' and uncovered! so if possible, add some shelter for your quarantine fish. put some rocks etc in the plastic container (esp if its transparent). this will give the new fish a chance to know the other fish yet offer it the security of a hiding place. or i will use plastic basket (colored but with lots of hole) to contain the new fish. tusk are actually very shy n gentle creatures n loves to hide. good to feed it shellfish with shell intact to 'weather' its 'tusk'. marketprawns, mussels, clams are good food. so are squid..

DA, heard BLACK TRIGGER n out i pop! db nearly wanted to bring it back from HK!! anyway, have not been giving my tank the attention it deserves since a diease wipped out my entire stock except my picasso trig last year (blueface, majestic, lemonpeel, french, clown trig, black patch trig, harlequinn tusk, flame angel etc..) now see my tank also sian.. (emperor angel, 3 triggers, i ugly yellow tang.)need to add more fish. looking at wrasse, tusk n more triggers! how much was the black trigger? need to put aside my lunch money!!

any triggers (other than clown, niger, picasso)? heard that there's BLACK trigger?????
