  1. If you can direct strong flow to it, it will detach itself from the rocks, hopefully floating someplace where you can net whatever pieces left over.
  2. Nice open scape! Do share equipment, husbandry and livestock.
  3. Many times hitchhikers like bristleworms feed on the fish after it is dead and that can be real helpful especially if you're like me where your rocks have some big caves where the dead fish cannot be seen. Over the years I've even lost big fish like tangs and my hundreds of bristleworms would take care of it for me. What I'm trying to say is that hitchhikers may not be the ones to blame. Sometimes fish just do not acclimatise properly or they may not be in the best of health which might not be apparent at first.
  4. They won't die. It's just their natural environment.
  5. Prata, Cyna, Brain... Those with a somewhat rounded base.
  6. Some corals prefer lying on the sand bed as well so that is also a consideration.
  7. Wow, you must be the youngest reefer here! Anyway please stop stocking and do regular water change.
  8. I just mix kalk with water till it is a thick white paste, draw with a syringe and cover the mouth of the aiptasia. Works just like Joe's juice/aiptasia X except much cheaper. But they can never be truly eradicated As there will be small ones hiding somewhere and growing in the tank. I've done this for years and killed hundreds.
  9. Those schooling fishes are so nice. Must really keep my eye out for those.
  10. Hi. Not made any purchases for long long time. How much are CF pratas going for nowadays?
  11. Can pm me address? Interested in candy cane and golden cloves and maybe take a look at some zoas.
  12. Wouldn't it be better to pump in NSW at that volume? Try not to use tap water if possible.
  13. 1.027, though high, is fine if whatever you measure with is tuned accurately. That is seldom the case though. I'd go with the advice for water change to lower it down. Ur temp is fine dun have to worry about that. Do remove the melting heads as well as they can affect the healthy ones nearby.
  14. With CA at 500, I would try to get another test kit to check for kH.
  15. Depends on how big your tank is. May be too much for a small tank and too little for a big one.
