what other fishes do u have inside? what is the water parameters? have u conditioned the shrimp properly b4 releasing them into the tank?

frederick.. nah.. me not gonna feed it to my eel lah.. it could be signs of aging.. my bi-color benny lost its yellow color of its tail when it got old.. how to tell.. i also dun know.. coz it was with me for 1.5 yrs.. and my friend had it for 1+ yr... so.. in 3 yrs... it could be a lot.. lets not forget.. we dun know how old it is when it was caught.. sigh.. there is not way to catch that chap out of your tank.. i had great difficulty too..

IMO, i dun suggest cabinets for anything bigger than 4 ft.. and especially for marine.. i kinda regret getting a cabinet for my 4ft.. the joints are rusting.. and me comtemplating to paint it.. but the fumes.. sigh.. alternatively, i suggest that u get a steel stand, paint it with anti-rust paint or coating, then build a cabinet to hide the stand.. then u can silicon the tank to the cabinet.. problem solved.. at least that is what is in my mind.. unless ppl can help me to highlight any problems that i may oversighted and overcome them..

hmm.. the coralife gloves do look good.. yes, i hate it when those bristleworms spike hits my hands.. how much are those? lifespan?? now with that glove, i dun have to add "additives" from my "hanging garden of eden".. hehehe

AT, that is not the same black tang that i saw.. but it was a much smaller one.. something which i think is around 15cm... anyway, the last time i was there, it was ard $150 and there was 2 of them and they are not for sale coz it had been booked by a overseas buyer as well as underwater world.. which means, time to visit underwater world!! hehehe..

derf, how big is your tank?? i have seen bawater's fishes.. if u want the trigger.. it is ok.. no problem.. it is ok to go with the fishes..

IMO, i would go for the mix.. coz i get the feeling or mindset that NSW do have all the parasites that u had mentioned.. and i dun want to risk that... rather pay a bit more and be safe..

yes.. when i last visited that place months ago.. i was so captivated by the black tang.. i like the luminous blue streak on its back.. but the price set me back.. Spiff, if u are reading this.. take a look at the black tang that i told u earlier.. it is not as ugly as u thought..
