tioman is pretty washed out IMO.. Most dive centres will bring divers to Renggis coz Renggis remains one of the nicer reef ard and pretty shallow left ard.. used to be able to see blacktips swimming ard but hv not seen them ard for the past couple of yrs. it is also another place where u can see lots of snorkellers ard due to the shallow and pretty sheltered area. u can try Tiger Reef and Lobster Bay while u are in tioman

sipadan is more like atoll where u can see lots of pelagics gather.. u should be able to see lots of turtles... Try barracuda point and see barras and jacks doing the cyclone.. if u can, and swim into the centre of it.. it is very therapeutic... also, the hammerhead sharks gathering point.... that is a deep dive..

chaeto is very effective but u need to provide it with lights and tat means increasing ur electrical consumption by a bit... using good skimmer helps too
