    DIY overflow

For DIY overflow, not the full waterflow from pipe diameter is achieved. At best slightly more than half the diameter of pipe, definitely not fully, unless you increase the pipe size for the last section before it flow to your sump. My all thru 25mm DIY overflow cannot take the full pump capacity of an ehiem 1260.

    DIY overflow

Alternatively, run a 2 outlet output from your return pump, one straight to tank and another return to sump. Install a valve for the latter and adjust accordingly until smooth flow is achieved from overflow pipe, with some allowance. No need to change pump. The other output can also link to any reactors you might have.
  4. Yes Ah Beng have some small size ones. Ng couple have one or two large size yesterday.
  5. Hi, is it pellet feeding and how long in your tank? Thanks.
  6. Yes, it's a cross damsel. I've got one in my damsel dominated tank.
  7. I bought one from Ah Beng last week. Doing ok with the other damsels in my 4'. Based on my personal experiences, I have hit and misses with livestocks from the 3 saltwater farms/shops in Pasir Ris. Have not purechase anything from Pinnacle yet. My rule of thumb is to observed and purchase those which are feeding or nibbling in the holding/display tanks.
  8. As ystr Iwarna, Ah Beng and Ng couple all have stocks but not many small ones of < 2" left.
  9. You might want to reaffirm that the pair is peppermint and not camel shrimps. The latter is ofren mistaken as peppermint and they do prey on soft corals.
  10. Many cleaner shrimps and fire shrimps in Ah Beng,Ng couple and Iwarna. Ah beng; a number of flame angels, medium and large blue powder tangs, blue tangs, yellow tangs, brown tangs, singapore angels, couple of clown tangs. One or two each of key hole angel, nox angel, bicolor angel. Ng couple; not much livestocks, 8-10 pcs in blue eye cardinals, some blue tangs and blue eye anthias, 2 powder blue tangs, 1 female spotbreast angel.
  11. I'm using only DI resin wrapped up and running a pump to push water thru. ~150ml can yield at least 60L of water at 0ppm, i.e. 3 times using the 20kg salt mix bucket filled to 2cm below rim.
  12. Ah Beng has lotsa midas blenny, coral banded shrimp, cleaner shrimp, blue eyes cardinal, a few purple tangs, brown scopas tangs, adult color majestic angels, bicolor angels, key hole angels, nox angel, and promo for blue eyes anthias.
  13. Anyone who has been to iwarna earlier today? Are there any blue reef chromis and royal gamma left?
  14. Thanks for the referral, I saw that and posted some queries on the chiller on the thread but seller did not reply.
  15. Thanks for the advice. 200 sounds excessive for a chiller power bill. Is that what you are paying for 1 chiller?
  16. Hi, I am looking for the above captioned chiller. Do drop me a watsapp message @ 9740 7515 or PM if you have one in good working condition to let go. Thanks. KL
  17. Seaview does provide a wide range of equipments and supplies as well as variety of freshwater livestocks only. However, you can quite a substantial number of items at lower prices from the other popular LFS like C328, Petmart, etc even after they apply the 15% discount. If variety is the key then it's a good alternative. Price wise, not really.
  18. Black tang not commonly available, someone selling here Brown or scopas tangs are readily available in Pasir Ris farms. I bought 2 about a month ago and they started feeding on pellets last week. You can try.
