hi... i think i need to clarify that this skimmer needs 2 pumps to work. 1. a venturi skimmer pump 2. a feeder pump All recirculating skimmers need a feeder pump to 'feed' the water into the chamber before they can start skimming. And the feeder pump is never sold together with the skimmer in the first place, and that is for all recirculating skimmers. So, that was why I didn't include the feeder pump, which I bought seperately. you can use ANY 1000lph pump for this skimmer. The veturi skimmer pump is included in the skimmer that I'm selling. I hope I explained clearly for those who are interested.
