huh? just the big fans blowing on the pipes? I don't think that'll work significantly... Assuming water temp is at room temp, thus air temp = water temp, thus you blow typhoon at your metal pipes also no use because there's no temperature gradient... net heat transfer = 0 Maybe it'll drop by 1 or 2 degrees but it's not worth the effort seriously... just aim that big huge fan at your water surface it'll cool even more efficiently

Interesting... but I don't see how you can start the siphon leh.... (i'm refering to the website) also, it looks to me like it can easily suck up a lot of air which would eventually kill the siphon...

just tickle it's base until it releases it's grip... works for me..

Hey I think the ship looks pretty cool man... should look pretty authentic (although wrong scale) when it gets encrusted in coraline and stuff... Not too sure about what it's leaching into the water though. haha... As for the clam, get really sharp razor carefully cut off the threads that hold it to the ship, then let it settle again on a nice piece of rock or crevice...

Hey I had the same thing happen to me!! Originally I had little or no foaming at all in my skimmer, then when I switched to Nutrafin suddenly the skimmer was foaming like a can of coke... But for me I thought it was better considering it was not foaming at all before that.. So I just turned down the skimmer level by a few more cm to adjust accordingly.. Any other people notice this strange trend?
