    underwater/macro photographer here, last dive was 2 yrs back before commiting my time to start a family and now a small reef tank to cure the itch. Underwater captures Equipment : Nikon D70s, Macro lens with underwater housing and strobes.

    Strange, my sheng song abalones are still alive after 1.5mths. make sure u get those that stick to the glass and not those lying on the bottom.

    Saw similar type in HomeFix (Great World City Branch) too. It can be applied without draining.

    New tank syndrome, you can brush it off with a toothbrush. try to lower phosphate too. btw avoid using tap water as well.

    i have 4 from shengsiong in my tank. After lights off, they will come out to work (clear algae).

    it's a type of bubble algae, properly called Ventricaria ventricosa. These are small round green balls that can grow singularly or more likely in groups.
