thanks guys. but how do u see if they aar feeding weel?? my tank is 2x1x1 the fan is place propperly. my fan is not the fan for the fish tank is a normal fan. it is about 1 feet in length. is it the same as the fan u guys are talking about?? if the temp is reading lower then it suppose to wont it make me tank hotter?? or are u saying +/- 2 degree?? it should be ready close to 5 weeks of cycling. just afraid to add fishes afraid they would die. as last time i thought water bought from shop is ready for fishes to put in right away causing all to die. do hermit eat their mottings?? cause there is this hermit stay under the rock 2 to 3 days nvr move around. but cannot find the motting any where. now it is moving around. but the other one jus stay at the back left hand corner not moving around. would hermit cause armonia spike??

hi bros, how long does molting take place?? cause my hermit have always stay on the sand bed not crawling around. even if i moved it up it stil would go back down to the sand bed.

i don think it is the pump or lights causing heat. i offed the filter and skimmer for 5 min jus now. instead of temp going down it went up. by 1 degree. now when i off my fan it is 30.9 and when i on it, it is 30.1 i thought fans would drop the temp by 2 degrees or so??

when i on my fan the temp onli drop by 0.7 degrees max. now my average temp is 30~31. i donno about yrs but my 2 hermit seem to be sweating in my tank. when they first came they where moving about for the 1st 2 days but after that it jus stay on the sand bed not moving. if i move it up on a rock within a min it wil jus scramble it way down to the sand bed again. it may be due to the heat as i presume the water on top is all hot while the water bellow is much cooler like the oean. but either way i think they are suffering.

all bro for replying. i no i need a chiller am saving for one. currently i do not have any fish in my tank should i start adding life stock or wait til i get a chiller?? i have got a fan but don seem to be doing much work. any ways again for helping.

hi bro/sis, i bought a digital thermometer today. when i put in the thermometer, it was at first at 32 then after awhile, it became 31. the best part was that the wheather was rather cooling and it was raining. now it is at 30.5. could it be the thermometer or the water is really that hot?? if i get a fan would it be good enough?? is this the reason y my hermits always go to the sand bed and stay at a place not moving as if it is dead?? wads wrong??

for the advice. the hermit are not dead jus not moving around. how much are the test kits?? can i get it at any marine fish shop?? ppl say the current should not be strong when cycling for bacteria growth is that truth??
