agreed, equipment price quite reasonable and cheaper than others in some products. but livestocks, not advisable.

ha. was thinking of it as low phosphate and nitrate subst to ro/di water since i no money get ro/di water. maybe i should try it out for the next water change and see how.

so the cyanide effect on the fish will not be expelled even after few months? or the cyanide will constantly cause lethargic in fishes? what other countries other than indonesia are known for cyanide caught fishes? from the other threads, said that actually almost all fishes from lfs is cyanide caught since its not easy to net it.

actually, im not running on any cannister for the moment. it increases the temperature of the tank. anybody run the tank without cannister or sump successfully?

if im not wrong, low nitrate is not a indicator of cycling ending. because denitratiing bacteria is very slow. the increased nitrate after adding lr is due to more nitrifyin bacterias. so now your system processe ammonias and nitrites quicker into nitrate. so 0 ammonia and 0 nitrite is good enough. nitrate control is something of another topic i think. correct me if im wrong?

have bought a small juv maroon clown to pair with my current maroon. but they seems to be biting each other ferociously decide to take out the big one and get ANOTHER juv maroon clown. this time the new one got bitten badly than i realise the new maroon is those with yellowish band while the other juv clown is those with white band. possible to pair them?

for brine shrimps usually i wash and melt the whole cube. put in those nets and wash. use pincer and feed then. will be cleaner and wun load your tank with nutrient. go supermarket and find this nori thing. its DRIED seaweed used for sushi making. feed my algae blenny 1 small strip every week. the rest of the day let him much on some rocks and glass walls.

i was given the maroon clown on the left. went to lfs and bought the one on the right. was told its maroon clown. went home trying to pair them but their colour looks very different. suspecting the new clown is those orange clown. anyone can help me id?
