Felt (Cloth Type) VS Mesh (Hard Plastic Type) filter sock

I've been using felt filter sock for a week, it keeps on blocking flow rate at fast pace, the deritus clog the sock at a fast rate. It's disrupts my JBJ auto top off. Wonder if the mesh type do the same? What micron should i use? 100/200/300?

i'm using those nylon type filter sock. Been running for 1.5 months, not yet clogged. Of course, they are not able to filter those very fine particles like what a mesh sock can.

The ones from madpetz is 300 micron, I use it once before, it's not able to filter out small particles. If i'm not wrong, the lesser the microns, the finer it is right? Wonder if BM 100 micron socks are enough.

Ya, I still considering. Have many sizes & materials to choose from. They also have sizes as fine as 1-3 micron. I rather confused by the many material they has to choose from, polyester, nylon, polypropylene, microfiber, etc. Dunno what's the difference and which is better?
