Bro i did that when i moved house 4 yrs ago. Cycled my rocks for 1 mth. When my new tank was moved to my new place, i transfer all my rocks along with new sand and filled up the tank with nsw. Added bacteria n let the water clear up in 1 day. After that corals n fishes were added and with a mth, my 4ft is fully stocked. Tank went well for 1 yr before chiller died and kill all my corals before i convent to fowlr.

You give me confidence! By the way, I left the jewel damsel at Solo's place... Eating well... But eventually didn't make it to my tank. I thought he will be my first fish. Hmmm.... Going TFC soon :)

Added a tunze 6095 and 7092 to compete the flow. And a reeftech mini 50 for biopellet. The current FR is not suitable for bio pellets. No worry for biopellet stuck anymore DD nitrate test kit shows my nitrate at 5 to 6ppm :)

I also purchased Reeftech Mini50 this morning. However i'm running it with large granule biopellets. What about yours? small pellets? Looking at the gaps, afraid the pellets (small) will escape from the gaps

i found that the flow is a bit too small, isnt it?

Oops, Alan, forgot to mention when we met. try NP or ATB equivalent pellets size.. you will get better tumbling effects. Cheers.

Nice green lantern you have there.

How are you dosing your kalk? What's the concentration you're dosing?

http://imageshack.us'>ImageShack.us
add 2 teaspoon of kalk into the 5l container (filled with about 4l of DI water)
shake the container to ensure the kalk powder and DI water is well mixed. leave standing for 1-2 hr and wait for the sediment to settle down.
Use only the clear solution and dose 1 drop per second at night .=)
Hope it helps =)
