Finally decided to add some replica rock to help improve the look of the tank, i am not a fan of replica rock but i must admit that it really look nice and easy to scape your tank with some of it.

Got hold of a nice pcs of replica rock measuring about 3ft x 2 ft x 2.5 ft from a reefer friend to make up of the scaping headache .

The " Old " look of the tank before the additional of the replica rock

gallery_1182_400_40037.jpg

And the " New" look after adding the replica rock on the left. Of course together with some new coral. What do you guys think ? Does it look better ?

Boss you need more rocks but definitely need some scaping skills.

The look from front looks flat.

IMHO, I think you can try replicating chingchai's or reefaholic's style of scape.

Once corals go in they will break the shape.

Current scape limits the number of sps you can place.

Just my two cents

Oh yah your rock structure look wobbly. Might be cause of the way the sand lies on the rocks to make it look unstable.

If there's nth to anchor the rocks down, might consider doing so.

In such cases, PVC pipes does the trick (:

First time trying out the Fauna marine ultra phos , and it look very different from all other P04 remover media in the market. Looking more like a biopallet but weight heavier. No more flushing and flushing of the media before use .

I notice that the media doesn't really fluidize much inside the FR , but at least i am no longer worried about the media being overflow into the sump tank.

The phos is white? Interesting

me assume your backdrop can remove easily just temporary remove it & take a pic again u will feel a lot better for sure ... just the backdrop make your tank look so complicated becos it look very fake not matching to your LR ... how u do the scaping still will get the same feeling ... if u DIY the backdrop directly in the tank will be more natural instead of doing 3 pcs separately outside than combine all into the tank ...

+1 on sengreef honest comment. I feel the backdrop kind of reduce the depth of the tank. But one thing I like about the back drop is it help hide the equipments. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
