In any case I just remove it. Found a few polyps on that LR. All removed.

How did u remove it? It can't be pluck off the rocks as it will retract bk into its hiding hole once u move near it. And even if u managed to pluck it, it will spread even more to other areas. Unless u removed that whole LR.

I use a cutter and cut off the polyps and the rock area where the root is.

If it doesn't retract into hiding, maybe its juz a hitchhiker zoas polyps. Cos seem easy for u to cut it.

when I took the LR out of the tank, the polyps was closed. but just for safety precaution, I cut it off. there were 3 seperate polyps on that LR itself.

sorry for the slow updates as I have been slowly stocking up my tank for the past one month. not much changes actually.

gotten 4 zoas from fellow reefer and they seems to be doing well in my tank. growing slowly but the polys are big and bright. running on 12 hours PAR 38 and temperature range from 27 - 29 degree. cooling my pico tank with only one ANS Cooling Fan 3000.

post-20194-0-35059800-1399254950_thumb.j

have also been adding livestock to my tank slowly. currently there are 2 nas 3 fenestrate snails to help in algae control. 1 cleaner shrimp.

i have killed 2 yellow clown gobies during the process which I didn't expected so. 1 of it went missing and I could not find it in the tank after dismantling the whole rock works. The other died within a day after refusing to eat.

I bought a magenta dottyback from AM last Saturday just when the new shipment came. Am kind of regretting now because I did not do the proper homework. Did a search online that magenta dottyback are quite aggressive especially in small tank. Has seen it trying to bite my cleaner shrimp but I will just observe for now. I am planning to add another royal gramma and a pair of true perc into the tank. If the magenta dottyback gets aggressive. I may have to sell or give it away.

Wow cool bro! Can't wait to see your diy led set. I'm using par 38 too (4x blue, 4x white & 4x green). I bought it from eBay.. wanted to save cost as well.. $$ :(

Love your collection of zoas. Wondering where do u get such frags from? All the ones I see at the lfs are huge rocks. Sorry, I'm quite a newbie

I got some of them from tht79 bro here. Some from my friend's cousins and some overseas.
