Jameshong
I do not agree with the test result. I have being using LED aquarium light since solaris time. During that time there is very little choice and is expensive. The leds are all running near to peak allowable and the life is short Today with the price of LED dropping and performance greatly improve .Choices are many. The prices you paid some come is in relation to the component quality ,design ,material quality and service quality. LED as we know come in many different bin. The more tolerance tight bin is going to cost you more. And I mean a drastic different in cost That is where the price different fall . But on the whole most of the led Light set today have rather acceptable quality. So the drastic drop off from original spectrum in a short time is not possible.Although there are drop off. Today the weakest link in any LED light is the power supply. Most of the time they are the culpit and upon changing a new unit every thing is back to normal. Hope this explain why I do not believe in the test result publish +1. you got my vote... ! Quote Knowing is not enough; we must apply. sherman
This is on Orphek LED website. AFTER 1.5 YEARS, ATLANTIK PAR TEST By orphek 1 Comment AFTER 1.5 YEARS, ATLANTIK IS STILL A POWERHOUSE Still going strong after 1.5 years, this Atlantik v1 is one of the first units off the assembly line and is still holding its own with PAR ratings that beat all other models on the market. The unit is on 12hrs/day for a total of approx. 6500hrs use in the last year and a half. The PAR testing shows that the par levels have not decreased through the course of use. I look at your link which leads to ophek with Henning's test. Then I go reef central n go to Henning's link. Is it I compare wrongly or they seems to look diff? So Henning's redid the test?
