yes bro.

Tube arrangement:

Wall

Blue plus

Blue plus

Actinic

Purple plus

Blue plus

Blue plus

Front Glass

Still not sure if should i replace the purple plus or Actinic to a Coral plus (mix with blue and white).

May diy another 2 tubes as i need stronger light at back to get stage horn grow faster as background.

then the next next enhancement plan is to add Blue Led strip, for night watching.

Kelvin, i would replace actinic with a coral plus. A good read to lean on.http://home.comcast.net/~stevelarsen00/site/?/page/Lamps_and_lamp_combinations/&PHPSESSID=b635034336a0379cd4ed7934cf90d035 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Very good read! thanks bro.

But not sure why they suggest to put aquablue (the 50/50 lamp like coral plus) on both end? or the last one close to wall?

I thought should be put in the middle?

any expert can advise?

I also don't know. Appeals to the eyes maybe?

Anyway I do notice that people generally play Blue+ as main bulbs now. AB special seems too warm for liking.

Also, with the emergence of coral plus, it seems there's a lesser need for AB special for that warm spectrum.

Ya very true. Saw ab special are the.most left over bulbs at lfs.

Gonna go back.to adjust to.see.the effect.

But white light is very good for photograhy n speed up growth as well. Good for new tank but not prefered by matrual tank.

Yah I agree. Taking pics are easier with white light and coralline generally grow better with 6500 to 10000 kelvin spectrum (:

Where's the FTS? Posted Image

thanks guys, cant wait for the weekend liao, so i can do plan the frags on the rock.

yes i know today is just Tue....

Was leaving many frags and colonies on different position to try out what they like.

now can tell already, will fix them to let them grow~~~

must fix them firmly, as every time i touched water, i confirmed move them around......

Love the stagehorn on right island, was growing from a little branches to 25cm now, in my old tank.
