Is it possible to keep Cleaner wrasse..?

Hi,

Seem many articles that cleaner wrasse not good for aquarium hobby, home set up..

But seeing many friends in forum has cleaner wrasse.. like to know ur experiences with common cleaner, hawaii cleaner wrasse..

Like that fish so much, but not sure to have at home, because of its diet specifics.. !! Advice..

Also, how much it cost ... ?

Less than $10. Have keep one for three months plus now. Eating oyster egg, aric pod, mysis, brine shrimps and green seeweed... yes... it eats green seaweed...

If I remember correctly, common cleaner wrasse is about $3 at pasir ris. Or you could look around for those already weaned on foods.

Okay bro,so i still can keep them.. happy about it, anyone with cleaner wrasse more than an year or so, with limited livestock.. ??

I got one that feed on frozen n pellets at M.L.

livestock husbandry is an acquired skill honed through experience and learning. Start with easier species then gradually move to more difficult ones as you acquire better husbandry skills. Save livestock, save money.

I'm having a cleaner wrasse which paired with a yellow tang as well ! Doing great . It eats every food that I put in including pellets, flakes, frozen brine/mysis and even cleans my hand when I put my hand in . It's like fish spa . Haha !

I guess we can feed it using our hands. Lol. Yes, i got one from marine life that is already feeding.

I got mine for less than $5 at a LFS (pacific marine i guess its called).

He kinda got eaten by one of my fishes ... So I don't know how well he would have fair..
