Edmund Koh
Haha! Well mine is working too I only put rocks in so that my corals have somewhere to sit on. The main biofiltration is in the IOS. Hmm .. you might wanna put your cheato in a plastic container instead of letting it float freely in the main tank. It can get pretty messy.

If you put your chaeto inside just remember to have plenty of holes to allow good flow of water through
SRC Member Shadow Walker Posted November 11, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted November 11, 2014 Anemone will keep on walking until it finds a place it likes. They like medium flow and medium to high light where their tentacles are. But would prefer a "cave" or a hole in the rock where they can hide their "body" away from strong light. Medium flow is where u see the tentacles moving but not being forcefully blown. Medium light is when u see the anemone is bright but not glaring. Just a question bro, so anemone only walks the tank floor right? Do they or are they capable of climbing the tank sides? Worried it might get juiced by my wavemaker Quote Shadow Walkers's 4 ft Shallow Reef Chronicles 4 Ft - 120.35.35 3 Ft Sump Skimmer: Bubble Magus NAC7 Chiller: Hailea 1/4 HS66A Lights: T5 4 tubes ATI + Maxspect Glaive Led Refugium with Liverocks and Cheato and lots of pods Refugium light: Par38 Full spectrum Return pump: Hailea HX6540..stupid pump so noisy Wavemaker: Maxspect Gyre
xiggie
When they walk they will walk everywhere .. Gravity is not a concern to them and wavemaker is their greatest enemy .. Quote Stairway to Heaven

mitchell.liang.9
Woea, like tat there is no guarantee one day it ends up being juiced. Will it die if we glue them to rock? Not recommended to glue them. Firstly it might not be an ideal spot for it to flourish. Secondly cant really glue them cause i doubt the glue will stick its base. One way is to cover your wavemaker with a thin mesh or a filter foam to prevent it from being sucked in.
SRC Member Shadow Walker Posted November 11, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted November 11, 2014 Can see many polyps flying ard when the annemone kana sucked in. Lol Bro Damianiac, you make it sound so lovely and beautiful lol Not recommended to glue them. Firstly it might not be an ideal spot for it to flourish. Secondly cant really glue them cause i doubt the glue will stick its base. One way is to cover your wavemaker with a thin mesh or a filter foam to prevent it from being sucked in. Bro/sis, I'm concern if adding thin mesh/filter foam will affects the wm's performance nia Quote Shadow Walkers's 4 ft Shallow Reef Chronicles 4 Ft - 120.35.35 3 Ft Sump Skimmer: Bubble Magus NAC7 Chiller: Hailea 1/4 HS66A Lights: T5 4 tubes ATI + Maxspect Glaive Led Refugium with Liverocks and Cheato and lots of pods Refugium light: Par38 Full spectrum Return pump: Hailea HX6540..stupid pump so noisy Wavemaker: Maxspect Gyre
mitchell.liang.9
Haha no choice. I also have wakemaker. Took me one whole day to get it to stick to a permenant spot. prying the anenome off the glass when it goes too close to the wavemaker. Finally settled on a rock with a deep crevice
Edmund Koh
Haha! Like they said .. Anemone walks everywhere. Hmm.. It's not going to be easy to get it to stay or sometimes after staying there for 2 wars suddenly decided that's not a good enough place and move again.
