SRC Member Seafront Posted April 23, 2015 SRC Member Share Posted April 23, 2015 Dear all, I always buy Caulerpa and it either get split up or going pale in a week. I kept in bottom of tank with low flow. My fishes are not hurting it but still failing. All my corals doing well. Please let me know what to be done. Thanks. reef garden
Hi, You mean you keep the Caulerpa in the sump tank? Are there any lights? If yes, how long do you have it switched on? If it turns pale, it is either going asexual or dying off. Mine used to be very prolific when I have the lights on for 12-16 hours. SRC Member JMW Posted August 11, 2015 SRC Member Share Posted August 11, 2015 What are your nutrient levels? Apparently they prefer higher levels. I have some serrulata which were like dormant for a wk after I introduced them. Ever since they have been sprouting new growth
