SRC Member waterperson Posted April 28, 2015 SRC Member Share Posted April 28, 2015 A galaxy monti in my tank is rtn-ing from the centre outwards, probably due to the recent drop in alkilinity. Want to know if its best to frag the outer rims to save what i can or left it be and wait for it to recover. The kh issue has been resolved and stable at 8-9. The monti is right at the back of the tank, so hard to take a pic to show. sorry

SRC Member waterperson Posted April 28, 2015 Author SRC Member Share Posted April 28, 2015 Great heroes think alike lol. Already frag it. Noticed it's spreading over to the larger side, so quickly frag it. Hopefully it will grow into a beauty again.

SRC Member waterperson Posted April 30, 2015 Author SRC Member Share Posted April 30, 2015 My virgin frag ends up in three pieces. lol not a good start. Montis are more brittle than they look. I placed them side by side, hoping they merged back in one big piece hehe
