New Project to transfer current 15 gallon tank over to this about 50 gallon tank with sump.

As the base foundation is laid, the construction resumes.

Filled the tank with make-do water as I decide to let it run longer for a few months before getting another rock and finally transfer. Tried Blue Treasure salt at very reasonable price. Have yet to test the parameters.

Using some old rocks to run the tank for time being. Filter feeders on one rock. All surviving well. 3 snails added to help with algae prevention.

Some facilities not built yet. May recycle old building facilities.

For now. Tada!!!

P.S. pardon for the rotated pictures. Can't rotate it with phone

Intend to try out bare bottom. Any advice with or without sand will be better?

My idea of a realistic reef tank is with sand, i feel that it looks unreal without sand but thats probably just me..

But i know many reefers who go without sand due to detritus build up and nutrients spike, thats up to individual reefing style i guess..

Good flow and a strong team of clean up crew will do the job just right, imo... So far so good for me with a sandbed

Just have to keep reefing... cant stop now~!

3 ways! But mainly from front ^^

I always find tower scaping very nice, espcially 3 ways view and u can have the minimalist feel. Probably add another 1 or 2 small island at the corners to give it abit more "life"

Will you face an issue of wm placement since you are making it 3 ways?

Have to sacrifice 1 of the view. Maybe one on the left, one on the back. I'm having island by the side. Zoas island and maybe pulsing xenia on another side.;)
