After a year plus of experience with marine tank, we decided to decom our 2ft cubes and setup a new 3ft tank with a coast to coast bean animal. Thanks to the Bokalihaosiao group (Charles, Ken, Jowen, Shao Hao, Luke, Rodney) and YDKM for the valuable advice.

- 2L aluminum CO2 cyclinder
- Intense CO2 Regulator with Solenoid
- Milmaukee

And there goes the piping work!

A little more detail about bean animal overflow piping, on the left side is the open channel pipe which needs to be higher than the full siphon pipe on the right side. The middle pipe is known as the emergency pipe which will only activates when the water level in the overflow goes beyond the pipe level.

The open channel pipe needs to have a hole on top for intake of air.

All the equipments are well fitted into the self customised sump.

Labelling is advisable for easy maintenance.

Finally, all is done!

Now its time to place in the madpetz rasin rocks!

Lastly and also one of the more challenging task was the installation of 2 Hydras up on the ceiling.

Stay tune for the commissioning of our 3ft tank!

After hearing many reviews with stagnant water in the fake rocks.. Today we decided to took out all the rocks and drill more holes underneath to let water escape..

To those considering madpet rasin rocks.. Please consider doing it too.. They can't be seen as its all on the back and bottom..
