Do you link up with your apex?

Link up Apex with AI Hydra?

No, i'm using the AI app (on ipad) to control the lights. The ipad interface is amazingly simple to use.

Also, at this time, i understand that the HydraHD cannot link to the Apex Neptune system via the AWM module. Only the original Hydra works with Apex AWM.

Is there any guideline stating the minimum distance to install the hydra away from water level?  (Noted other forum only state 2-3 inches to keep it away from water/evaporation)

Just gotten my hydra 26 hd, trying to bring out color in zoas as purchase a few frags.

is there any height recommended to start off? (Currently having LPS only)

Thanks.

i hang my light unit about 2 ft from water, hanging it higher will help prevent water splash getting into the light and will also help getting more light spread across the tank. I loss one old unit of Hydra month ago as i was hanging it too low and somehow water manage to get into the light due to my wave maker.

i have a 90cmx70cmx45cm tank ~ 2x 26 euff ??

It really depends on the rock scape & the type of corals you have.

In general, some SPS under the lights will be OK. Most LPS will do perfectly fine with it.
